 Age: Age is determined by the student’s age as of December 31st of the year they start dance classes.
Class Placement: Classes are formed by student’s abilities and not necessarily by age or years of training. All children learn at different rates and we teachers pride ourselves in the recognition of each student’s strong and weak points. Please allow us to best serve our students by allowing us to group them accordingly.
Pre-Ballet 1: This class is offered for students 2 to 4 yrs. This is a creative movement class, teaching basics of ballet and basic coordination skills. Pre-ballet 1 is taught with the use of props, music, and songs. Please be aware that students may be placed in pre-ballet 1 for two consecutive years based on their age. Pre-ballet 1 will perform in our recital.
Pre-Ballet 2: Ages 4 and 5. This class is a continuation of pre-ballet 1. New students age 5, will be enrolled in this class. New students age 4, will be placed in pre-ballet 1. Returning students age 4, may be placed in pre-ballet 2 based on teacher approval only.
Pre-Tap: Ages 4 and 5. Pre-tap is a ½ hour introductory course. Students must be enrolled in pre-ballet to register for pre-tap. Since this is an introductory course, pre-tap cannot be taken alone. This class will perform in our recital.
Ballet and/or Tap: Ages 6 and up. Ballet and tap classes are geared toward the level appropriate for the particular class being taught. Classes are not necessarily based on one age group. Classes are mostly a combination of close ages.
Jazz: Ages 7 and up. Jazz classes consist of a jazz technique warm-up, stretches, progressions and center combinations.
Acrobatics: Ages 6 to 12. Acrobatics consists of a strengthening warm-up, stretches, and mastering of acrobatic skills. This is not a gymnastics class. Acrobatics is about flexibility and tricks. Students will be placed by ability, not age.
Hip-Hop: Ages 8 and up. One of our most popular classes! This introduces students to the world of video dance. No previous dance experience is required. This is a great class for teenagers who have never danced before!
Pointe: Pointe classes are available to ballet students over 12 years of age, with at least 4 consecutive years of ballet training and teacher approval. Students will be evaluated in ballet class.
Lyrical: Ages 8 and up. Students must be enrolled in ballet and jazz to take this class. Lyrical is a combination of both ballet and jazz. Lyrical dance is expressive and interprets the meanings of songs. This class includes a jazz warm-up, progressions and center combinations.
Children and Adult Ballroom: Ages 8 and up. This class will be a sampler of all basic dances. Partners are not required. This class will perform in the recital. (*This class is being offered in 10-week sessions. Students planning on performing in the recital must be enrolled in all sessions offered from September to June. Tuition for 10-week session: $150. Plus a one-time $20 registration fee.) ***Registration fee is only one time per season, not per class.
Irish Step: Ages 4 to 11. Students will learn the dance form of Celtic dance. Classes run once a week from September to June. This class will perform in the recital. (*This class is not combined with the regular tuition for other classes. Tuition is nine monthly payments of $48 due by the 7th of each month. There is a $20 registration fee for this class.)
Mommy/Daddy & Me – Fantasy Story Dance Class: Girls and boys, just walking to age 4. This is a pre-dance class with a fantasy story theme each week. Stories include Cinderella, Snow White, Wizard of Oz, etc. This class will incorporate story into dance using music, props, and dress up. (*This class is offered in 6-week sessions.)

 Irish Step Classes:
Classes run once a week from September to June. Tuition is nine monthly payments of $48.00 due by the 7 th of each month. There is a $20 registration fee for this class. This class is not combined with the regular tuition for other classes. This class will perform in the recital.

Mommy / Daddy & Me - Fantasy Story Dance Class: For children just walking to age 4.

Registration Fee: $20.00 per student upon enrollment, non-refundable, maximum family fee - $45.00
1 class per week: $44.00 monthly fee
2 classes per week: $69.00 monthly fee
3 classes per week: $90.00 monthly fee
4 classes per week: $110.00 monthly fee
5 classes per week: $130.00 monthly fee
6 classes per week: $150.00 monthly fee
Irish Step Tuition: $48 monthly fee

Families with two or more children taking dance lessons are entitled to a special Family Discount when any child is enrolled in more than two classes per week or when three or more children are enrolled.
Tuition rates are pro-rated and based on lessons received for a full year but paid for on a monthly basis. There will be 9 payments. The first payment is due at the time of registration with the remainder of payments being due before the 7th of each month from October through May. Payments made after the 20th of the month will be charged a $10.00 late fee.
Late payments are expected by the 27 th of the month. After the 27 th of the month an additional $10 Fee will be charged. This will be strictly enforced.
Students registering after September are responsible for 9 tuition payments. No refunds or credits for dropped classes. Tuition may not be credited to siblings or to the next tuition payment.
Dance Season:
Or Season will run from September to June. The recital will be held in late May or early June.
Costume Deposit:
Costume deposit refunds will not be given after December 1st.
